LEAP 1A Engines: Safran’s Strategic Investment in Querétaro Takes Flight

Safran will conduct the final assembly of its LEAP 1A engines, used in Airbus aircraft, in Mexico. This makes Mexico the third country to host this operation, alongside the United States and France. Among Safran’s major upcoming projects is the assembly of 100 LEAP 1A engines by 2027, a collaborative effort between its Mexican and French teams.
