The National Index Council and its 18 associations represent the productive interests of the Maquiladora and Export Manufacturing Industry in pursuit of greater opportunities for the country's growth. We are Mexico's most socially engaged industry because we create the possibility for more Mexicans to join the language of manufacturing and exportation with social balance, thus driving national and regional development.

The National Council of the Maquiladora and Export Manufacturing Industry (INDEX) is a leading organization in this national industry. It has a membership composed of over 1,200 multinational exporting companies manufacturing in Mexico for the world, and for five decades has been promoting IMMEX companies. Members of INDEX benefit from representation in Mexico and the United States, in addition to providing support in the daily operation of companies regarding alerts and circulars, foreign trade, tax matters, and human capital.
