Sailun Tire Company's 7.2 Billion Pesos Investment in Guanajuato: A Milestone Visit

During the conclusion of an investment tour across Asia, Diego Sinhue, the Governor of Guanajuato, and his delegation visited Sailun Tire Company Ltd in Qingdao, China. The company, known for producing cutting-edge tire technology, plans to invest 7.2 billion pesos to establish its operations in Irapuato, Guanajuato.

With this project, they aim to create 1,400 high-level jobs. Sailun Tire Company boasts over 18,000 employees worldwide and operates from 7 modern, intelligent manufacturing centers. It stands as the first Chinese brand to integrate a complete industrial chain covering new materials, processes, technology, equipment, modern management, talent, and big data development and application.

Additionally, it serves as the research and demonstration base for the National Research Institute of Rubber Engineering and Tires in China. It ranks second in China's Top 100 rubber industry list and was ranked 15th among the world's top 75 tire manufacturers in 2022.

During the final days of the tour, the Guanajuato delegation held a meeting with Jesus Seade, Mexico's ambassador to China. They discussed ways to expedite procedures for companies looking to invest in technology and electric vehicles in Guanajuato. Additionally, they visited Mingxing, a high-tech company providing materials for electric vehicles. The company expressed great interest in developing new projects and expanding its market presence in the state. Governor Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo shared on his official account that the discussions focused on accelerating processes for companies interested in investing in technology and electric vehicles in Guanajuato.
