Mexico Industry signed a collaboration agreement with the National Auto Parts Industry (INA) to promote the development of the auto parts sector in Mexico.
Francisco González Díaz, president of the INA , commented that last year the sector had investments of nearly 4,000 million dollars, the largest figure in the last 10 years in Mexico.
He pointed out the relevance of the growth of the sector when there is constant uncertainty worldwide due to the challenges of the pandemic and conflicts in Europe, and despite these circumstances, the auto parts industry had growth in production and exports.
“In the INA we represent a thriving sector of the economy, we are very happy but we have to work more on concepts of raw materials and war problems that could have some kind of impact in Mexico. Today more than ever we are seeking to integrate more suppliers of different levels in order to have a solid chain in terms of production, sale and export. We have 60 years of experience as an association, but as auto parts companies we deal with all types and from all parts that have been installed in the country”, he said.
For her part, Iliana Saldaña, PR & Business Development of Mexico Industry , stated that this agreement is part of the strategy to promote national supply and exports of the Mexican auto parts industry , through the medium's print and digital channels.
“We are very happy to sign this agreement with the INA since they are a national benchmark for the Mexican industry and we are sure that it will be a benefit for the country. You can be sure that we will do everything on our part to highlight the actions and industrial strength that we have in Mexico, and specifically the auto parts industry”, he stated.
