Mubea will invest 57.7 million dollars to install its third plant in Coahuila

The directors of the Mubea company announced that they will make an investment of 57.7 million dollars to install a plant in Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila .
Production of polymer-reinforced fiberglass springs and tension springs
This new manufacturing complex of the German company will produce polymer-reinforced fiberglass springs and tension springs , and will create more than 190 new jobs.
It should be noted that this is the third Mubea plant in the state and will be located in the "Chuy María" Industrial Park.
The CEO of Mubea North America , James Sheehan, recalled that in 2001 they established their location for the first time in Coahuila, and with this third plant in the state they will begin production in 2025. In addition, he announced that the company has future projects in order of 240 million dollars.
“Without the support of the State of Coahuila and the Amistad Industrial Park, this project would not have been possible,” he mentioned.
Investments in Coahuila
For his part, Miguel Ángel Riquelme Solís, governor of Coahuila, mentioned that Mubea joins the list of investment announcements that the state has had in this 2023 and, in turn, reiterated to the company's executives that they maintain calm and the certainty of continuing to grow in the entity.
In addition, he assured that the manufacture of electric cars by several automakers puts the entity on a path of growth in all aspects, especially in the educational sector.
Also present at this investment announcement were Claudio Bres Garza, State Secretary of Economy; Edna Ileana Dávalos Elizondo, local deputy; Travis Walker, general manager of Coils Springs North America ; Edson Gonçalves, Finance Director Mubea de México ; Marco Alberto Ramon Aguirre, from Grupo Amistad , and Fernando Estrada, manager of the Mubea Plant.
