Index Matamoros Leads Entrepreneurial Training for Mexican Women in Brownsville

Roberto Mattus, director of Index in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, took part in the fifth edition of the Consular Entrepreneurship Program for Mexicans Abroad, organized by the Mexican Consulate in Brownsville, Texas. The event was held at the E-Bridge Center for Business & Commercialization, part of the University of Texas at the Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) in Brownsville. The program focused on key topics in business project management, such as efficient cost, price, and labor management, specifically aimed at regional female entrepreneurs.

Karla Landaverde, coordinator of statistics and labor affairs at Index Matamoros, also participated alongside Mattus. They shared knowledge and strategies with the attendees, offering valuable insights on how to tackle business challenges and promoting a collaborative environment for exchanging tools and ideas.

Directed by Consul Judith Marcia Arrieta and coordinated by Luisa María Reyna Cavazos, the primary goal of this program is to support the development and growth of Mexican entrepreneurs abroad.

The E-Bridge Center for Business & Commercialization has consistently committed to fostering entrepreneurship and business innovation in the region. The involvement of Index Matamoros in the program helps enhance the entrepreneurial skills of the participants, promotes binational growth, and strengthens cooperative ties.
