Imperial Auto Fluid Transmission Products Opens First Plant in Mexico; Invests $430 Million in Coahuila

Imperial Auto Fluid Transmission Products has inaugurated its first plant in Mexico and Latin America in the state of Coahuila, with an investment of $430 million and the creation of 400 direct jobs.
“Our product range makes us the best business partner for our clients in the agricultural, mining, construction, and especially the automotive industries,” said Eduardo Aseff Harb Parodi, Plant Manager for Imperial Auto Mexico.
The company selected Ramos Arizpe as the site for its first facility on the continent, further establishing Coahuila as a strategic hub for foreign investment in Mexico.
Founded in India in 1969, Imperial Auto Industries is a leading manufacturer of fluid transmission components and high-pressure tubes for the automotive and industrial sectors, operating more than 50 plants worldwide.
The event was attended by Deepak Malik, Vice President of Imperial Auto; Mayur Joshi, Plant Manager for Imperial Auto USA; José Luis Chapa Reséndez, Undersecretary of Employment and Productivity; Sofía Delgadillo Díaz, Director of Pro Coahuila; and Diego Gándara Cavazos, President of AIERA.
