Enhancement of Industrial Landscape in McAllen, Texas with New Constructions

Susie Flores highlighted the job opportunities these companies will bring to the local population in the latest STMA meeting.
The industrial real estate offering in McAllen, Texas expands with new projects in 2023, including two industrial warehouses and an Industrial Park, according to Susie Flores, Director of Corporate Recruitment at the Economic Development Corporation (EDC) in the city.
The new constructions are attributed to Abasto Corporation with 75,000 square feet (6,967 square meters) and Madiam LP with 6,800 square feet (6,317 square meters).
Climate Control
Meanwhile, Grupo CIL is spearheading the development of the new McAllen Nearshoring Campus Industrial Park, spanning 128 acres (517,998 square meters) and featuring AAA-rated industrial lots.
Abasto Corporation has already commenced construction of its state-of-the-art climate-controlled Warehouse Kingdom, with a $9 million investment, excluding office equipment and furniture.
On the other hand, Madiam LP is set to commence the construction of its new industrial warehouse of 68,000 square feet (6,317 square meters) before the end of 2023, with an investment of $4.7 million.

Regarding the McAllen Nearshoring Campus Industrial Park, Susie stated that the final details for its inauguration are being fine-tuned.
These projects were unveiled during the latest meeting of the South Texas Manufacturers Association (STMA), where Susie Flores emphasized the job opportunities these companies will provide to the local population.
"The industrial development in the city of McAllen, Texas, has been very positive in recent months, and this will be reflected in new job opportunities, with salary ranges of up to $60,000 per year."
