The Pascual Cooperative started the construction of a new production plant in the municipality of San Juan del Río, Querétaro, with an investment of 200 million pesos , which will generate 100 direct and 500 indirect jobs for its operation.
Despite the complex scenario that prevailed in the last three years, the Pascual Cooperative managed to consolidate this project, stated the president of the Board of Directors of the Pascual Workers Cooperative, Antonio Samaniego Villanueva.
“We have been through difficult situations. Pandemic, war conflicts that made it difficult for production materials to arrive, put us to the test. This year we will have to operate projects like this one to crystallize the expansion objectives”, he said.
The new plant will have the capacity to house up to 13,000 drums of fruit pulp from Mexican producers, and is a fundamental part of Pascual Boing's strategy to generate local sales and become a general distribution center (CEDIS) for self-service stores through Nacional level.
On his occasion, the head of the Secretariat for Agricultural Development, Rosendo Anaya, stated that “talking about Boing is going back many years, almost 100, of effort. Organized society can get ahead and those of us who would like to do work under similar conditions would have to look at what Boing did, what it has done and what it will continue to do”.
The mayor of San Juan del Río, Roberto Cabrera, stressed that with the investments that arrive in the municipality, it is “relaunched” as a pole of industrial development.
This complex is being built in the Valle de Oro industrial subdivision, in San Juan del Río, Querétaro.
