One year after the investment announcement to expand its Querétaro automotive plant, Bosch México began its manufacturing operations.

The project represents an investment of 146 million dollars, the creation of more than 400 qualified jobs, as well as the production in Mexico of cutting-edge technology that saves lives, such as electronic power steering, a driver assistance device, which will also strengthen the automotive supply chain in the region.

René Schlegel, president of Bosch Mexico, pointed out that a year ago they announced the growth of this site and today they formally inaugurate their start-up of operations to serve more and more customers with more employees in this region.

“This speed and consistency is cause for celebration for us. As an innovation company, it is precisely these characteristics that allow us to adapt to the market before others.”

Since 2017, the Querétaro plant has been dedicated to the manufacture of electronic devices for the Mexican automotive industry and currently has 483 employees .

Julia Wegmann, commercial director of Bosch Querétaro, stated that they started with their operations at full speed, and for this they have managed to combine the best of technology for production and the most qualified human resources for it.

“We invite Queretans to join our work team by applying to our vacancies from the Bosch México social media accounts. With us they will be able to build inspiring careers with all the benefits of a global company like ours”, he expressed.
